YOOCHEL KAAJ is pleased to announce that the International Call 2014 is now open for the Encuentro TRANSLOCACIONES / Soft Geographies #10, which will be based in Mérida, Yucatán, México from 11-19 July 2014. Applications are invited from groups, collectives and individual artists for projects that emphasize practice, process, collaboration and experimentation. We are especially interested in applications which propose translocations that cross the habitual boundaries, whether they be disciplinary, geographical, institutional, cultural, linguistic or others. We encourage applications from groups or individuals working in the areas of live or expanded cinema, transmission arts, dance, experimental theatre, performance, video, transpedagogy, sound art and music, and those exploring alternative venues, but the Call is open to projects in any medium. Support will be provided for five project teams. The online application form at http://yoochel.org/inscripciones-2014/ is available until the application deadline on 30 April 2014 at 23:59 hours. For further information, please download the full text in PDF below, or contact email@example.com.
Yoochel Kaaj is a Mexican not-for-profit organization that has been working in the area of media- and related arts since the 1990s.
